Affordable Housing Public Info Session #2

Did you miss this public info session? Watch the Zoom recording HERE.

When: Monday, January 29, 2024, 5:30-7pm

Where: Winthrop Library Community Room (Get Directions)

The Methow Conservancy held its second public information session about the potential for an affordable neighborhood on the Sunny M property near the Town of Winthrop.

As we work on a vision for the neighborhood, we want to hear from you about what matters to the community.

If you attended the first session, please continue with us and attend this meeting. We have new questions for you!

If you didn’t attend the first session, no worries. Attend this one; we’ll provide enough background to get you up to speed and we’ll welcome your input! You can also watch (if you wish) a Zoom recording of the first session HERE.

We want the Sunny M neighborhood to be a welcomed addition to our community and to do that, we need to hear from you. This info session is free and open to the public; no prior registration required (for in-person attendance). This is will be the second public info session in a series of community conversations we are hosting regarding affordable housing on the Sunny M.

A Zoom connection will also be available - although we hope you'll attend in person and share your thoughts with us if you can! To register for the Zoom link, click HERE.

Affordable housing and the Sunny M Ranch

When the Methow Conservancy purchased the Sunny M Ranch in June 2023, one of the values that drove the 1200-acre conservation project was the idea of making land available for a neighborhood that would be affordable to those living and working in the Methow Valley. After months of internal discussions and collaborative meetings with our primary affordable housing partner, the Methow Housing Trust, we're ready to engage the community in the process of determining what affordable housing need(s) this neighborhood will eventually serve.
