Spring Open House at the Methow Conservancy
Spring Open House at the Methow Conservancy
When: Sunday, May 26, 2-4pm
Drop in to our office any time between 2-4pm to say hello, see our office, and hear what we're up to. We'll have beverages and light snacks available.
We're located at 414 Riverside Ave in Winthrop, near the bridge over the Methow River. We have a good amount of parking, but if you're fairly mobile it's also easy to park at the Spring Creek Ranch Trailhead above the Winthrop Rink and walk across the beautiful pedestrian bridge and down to our office.
This is an informal gathering--a chance to greet longstanding conservationists, new members of the conservation community, and those who are interested in learning more about community-based conservation in the Methow Valley. It is not a fundraiser.

Afterwards, we hope you'll visit the Methow Valley Interpretive Center for a talk by Matt Young of the Colville Confederated Tribes Fish and Wildlife Department. Matt will talk about how the Colville Confederated Tribes Fish and Wildlife Department uses Traditional Ecological Knowledge and modern science to improve aquatic habitats and reduce the extinction risk to local aquatic species by enhancing cold, clean, connected and complex habitats.
