Is September the best month of the year? A month where you can savor afternoon warmth and also revel in a chilly morning? A month where you can enjoy fresh garden greens, and also make a big pot of soup? A month where both the patio and the duvet are your friend? Where leaves are changing while fruits still ripen on the tree? September is not quite summer, and it's not quite fall. The equinox is the fulcrum point on a seasonal teeter-totter, and September happens in the weightlessness between pushing off the earth in August and landing once again in October.
