Meet the mətxʷu : the Methow Descendants' welcome you to x̌ʷnámx̌ʷnam/Hummingbird
When: Saturday, September 26th, drop-in hours from 1-3pm, with a brief program at 1:30pm
Where: 523B Eastside Chewuch Road, Winthrop (GET DIRECTIONS)
The mətxʷu Descendants invite the community to join them at x̌ʷnámx̌ʷnam to learn more about their traditional activities on their homeland. This event is free and open to all who wish to learn more about the mətxʷu People, who have lived in the Methow Valley since time immemorial.
Owned by the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation on behalf of the mətxʷu People, x̌ʷnámx̌ʷnam offers an important place for the mətxʷu /Methow Descendants to practice and sustain their traditional knowledge.

Carpool: Self-organized carpools will depart from the Methow Valley Community Center in Twisp at 12:45pm, the Methow Conservancy in Winthrop at 1pm and the Mazama Community Club in Mazama at 12:45pm. Have extra seats in your car? Stop by and offer a ride.
