Join us in Mazama to learn more about the hydrology of the upper Methow River and the Goat Creek tributary. This two-hour field experience will add a new lens to a familiar recreational landscape near the suspension bridge. The trip will be led by Chris Konrad, a research hydrologist with USGS. We'll discuss how the Methow River gets its water and what it does with it, compare Goat Creek to the river, and consider the variety of ways these waterways are important to us.

This trip may include some off trail walking on uneven terrain. We will meet at the Suspension Bridge trailhead at 8:30am. Sign up, and come learn about water with us!
