Happy 30th Birthday to Us: the 30 for 30 Challenge!
Remember your 30th birthday? You had so much life behind you: developing and maturing, figuring out your values, determining what role you would play in the communities that were important to you, forming your vision for the future. You also had so much life still ahead of you: goals and ambitions, relationships to be nurtured, and continued explorations of special places.
The Methow Conservancy is right there with you! Established in 1996 as a merger between the Methow Valley Land Trust and the Methow Valley Environmental Center, the Methow Conservancy has been inspiring people to care for the land of the Methow Valley for 30 years, and you've been with us all along.
As we celebrate our 30th birthday this year, we'll spend some time reflecting on the three decades of conservation work we've done and how it has shaped the Methow Valley, as well as looking forward to the next 30 years--and beyond. We hope you'll join us for one of the 30+ events we have planned (and still-to-be-planned) in 2026: First Tuesdays, Open Houses, work parties, field trips, walks on Mill Hill, Meadowlark, and Sunny M--so many ways to learn about and love the land!
Keep track of your engagement with us and you'll be entered into a drawing for fabulous prizes, not to mention garnering glory and personal satisfaction.
Stay tuned to our Events page as we populate it with the opportunities to celebrate 30 years of conservation with us and email us or stop by the office to pick up a QR code or a "dance card" to keep track of the time you spend with us in 2026.
