You love the Methow Valley and you care about its future. So do we. For the Methow Conservancy, that love translates into protecting the Valley's clean water, fertile soils, and diverse wildlife habitat. It means offering educational programs that help us all understand this landscape. It also translates into caring about the human habitat – making sure our conservation efforts work in concert with community needs. That's why we play a role in creating solutions for affordable housing, bolstering community resiliency for wildfire preparation and recovery, and working to ensure that the Methow Descendants are welcome on the land that has been their home since Time Immemorial. Yes, we are a land trust, and we care about wild places, farmland, and healthy ecosystems. And, yes, we believe a land trust must be more than that. We are an organization rooted in our love of this place and this community – both human and wild. Together we can make sure that what we all love about the Methow Valley endures forever.
