Wildfire Relief Funds
Like so many of you, we are heartbroken about the fires ravaging North Central Washington. The Kaiser Canyon Fire and several others on the Colville Indian Reservation, the Sinlahekin Fire near Tonasket, and the Little Giant Fire near Lake Chelan have collectively burned hundreds of thousands of acres. The impact on the land, on animals, and on residents, is devastating.
The Community Foundation of North Central Washington works closely with community partners to assist in the long-term recovery efforts for survivors of wildfires, including helping families rebuild their lives following wildfires.
Through the NCW Fire Relief Fund, the Community Foundation works with nonprofit partners and relies on the extensive work of in-person case managers who work side-by-side with the survivors of wildfires to ensure that all available federal, state and volunteer resources have been exhausted before determining an individualized list of unmet needs.
Donations to the NCW Fire Relief Fund are used for this long-term recovery: to help families rebuild, relocate, and re-establish their lives in whatever form that might take. Dollars from this fund are deployed after this process to ensure that funds are being used in the most responsible, non-duplicative, and effective manner possible. LEARN MORE

The Cedar Fund of the Colville Indian Reservation has established the Colville Wildfire Relief & Recovery Fund to provide direct assistance to individuals, families, and communities impacted by recent wildfires on the Colville Indian Reservation. The Okanogan Community Action Council has opened a wildfire recovery fund to those affected in Okanogan County. LEARN MORE
Chelan Valley Hope provides assistance, advocacy, and referral service to under-resourced families and individuals throughout the Greater Chelan Valley. They are actively working with those who have lost their homes to help with temporary shelter, food, and other basic needs. LEARN MORE
Fire Relief & Recovery on the Colville Indian Reservation
The Cedar Fund of the Colville Indian Reservation has established the Colville Wildfire Relief & Recovery Fund to provide direct assistance to individuals, families, and communities impacted by recent wildfires on the Colville Indian Reservation. Donations will help meet immediate needs—including emergency shelter, food, clothing, household essentials, and other critical support—while also assisting families as they begin the long process of rebuilding their homes, restoring their lives, and strengthening their communities. Every contribution makes a difference. Together, we can stand with our neighbors, honor our shared responsibility to one another, and help the people of the Colville Indian Reservation recover with dignity, resilience, and hope.
